The Université de Sherbrooke, a francophone university with 21,000 students, offers more than 150 different programs through nine faculties. In addition to its innovative policy of technology transfer to industry, the university is also well known for its co-operative programs, where paid training in a work environment alternates with study sessions.One of the research groups of the Université de Sherbrooke is working on a project to produce a dictionary of standard French language used in Quebec. XML was chosen to handle the articles because of its flexibility in the re-purposing of content. TEXTML Server is used to access the voluminous information as the entire project is of digital nature and intended for web cast.
