Centre national de documentation pédagogique
The French organism « Centre national de documentation pédagogique (CNDP) » is composed of 28 regional centers, 86 departmental centers, and a number of local centers. CNDP is controlled by the French Ministry of Education and was created to centralize all documentation pertaining to various processes, laws, and regulations within the education system (students, parents, teachers, libraries, psychologists, …).
CNDP worked with system integrator 4D Concept to develop their content management system. The solution uses Adobe’s FrameMaker to produce well-formed pages and TEXTML Server for native XML storage and content re-purposing. The entire content management system is XML-based and enables support multi-channel publishing: paper, CD, and web.
