Sud Ouest, located in the French department of the Gironde, started operating in 1944 with the publication of the Sud Ouest newspaper in Bordeaux. The company’s daily circulation of approximately 318,000 - which translates into more than a million readers - is the third largest in the French regional press market.
The French group Sud Ouest has acquired Protec’s MILENIUM Cross Media solutions in order to renew and modernise its systems and infrastructures. It has more than one thousand employees, including 350 journalists who will use MILENIUM to prepare the Sud Ouest’s 23 local editions.
