IXIASOFT reaches out to tomorrow's technical content leaders at SIGDOC
IXIASOFT's DITA Evangelist Keith Schengili-Roberts has been invited to the SIGDOC conference, a place where academics in the field of UX design and technical communication gather together, which is being held this year on August 11-13 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
This conference is attended primarily by those professors who teach their students how to be leaders and innovators in the field of technical communications.
IXIASOFT believes strongly that business and higher education needs to work together to ensure that the information architects, UX designers, content strategists and technical writers of tomorrow are aware they are already in demand at companies around the world. Keith's attendance is part of IXIASOFT's continuing outreach to this community, helping to educate the educators about the role that DITA and CCMSs play in current technical writing practice, and forging alliances with students who are about to enter the workforce.
He will be speaking at an industry panel and at a workshop at SIGDOC talking about the increasing role that DITA plays within technical communications.
