Configure key mapping

Use this procedure to associate key sequences with actions in the DITA Perspective.

Certain key sequences are used to invoke menu commands and other actions: for example, CTRL+C copies the currently selected text. This procedure opens the Keys pane of the Preferences dialog, so that you can customize key assignments.

See Eclipse Help for further information.

  1. From the Window menu, select Preferences....
    The Preferences dialog opens.
  2. Select General > Keys.
    The Keys pane appears.
  3. In the Command list, select the command you want to configure.

  5. Click Apply.
