Delete shared queries

You can delete the queries that have been shared with you.

You may find that you have many similar queries and want to cut back on ones that are redundant. Or you may find that you have duplicate queries and you want to delete some of them.

Note: When you delete a shared query, you are deleting it for every other person who is on that team.
  1. In the Queries panel of the Search view, open a Shared item, either:
    • Shared, or
    • Shared TEXTML
You'll see the Roles and/or Groups items that contain your shared queries.
  2. Expand the appropriate Roles or Groups item.
You'll see the items for the various role names or group names configured on your system.
  3. Expand the required rolename or groupname item.
Under each role or group name you'll see the queries that have already been shared.
  4. Right-click a query and select Delete queryname.
where queryname is the query you've selected. The following message is displayed:
Your selection contains at least one shared query. Are you sure you want to continue?
  5. Click OK.
The query will disappear from that Role or Group under your own Shared or Shared TEXTML item.

It will also disappear from these items for every other person who it has been shared with.
