Understand the IXIASOFT framework

Before customizing the IXIASOFT framework, you should understand the method of customizing it and how it differs from the standard oXygen XML Web Author framework.

To support the oXygen XML Web Author Component in the Editing page in IXIASOFT CCMS Web, IXIASOFT created a framework based on the oXygen XML Web Author framework and customized it to simplify working in the topic. The IXIASOFT framework is installed with CCMS Web.

  1. Review the method of customizing the framework.

    If you want to customize the framework, you can add them to your framework extension and then upload the new framework extension to IXIASOFT CCMS Web.

    Important: Making changes directly to the IXIASOFT framework and integrating plugins for oXygen XML Web Author is not supported. The IXIASOFT framework may be overwritten during updates and upgrades.
