Important Notes

  • Install and upgrade documentation is available to current customers on the Downloads website.
  • This build includes Oxygen 28.1 for IXIA CCMS Web and supports up to Oxygen 25.1 for IXIA CCMS Desktop. Oxygen 26 and 27 are not supported for Desktop. The minimum version supported for Desktop is Oxygen XML Editor 21.

Bug Fixes

IXIA CCMS Web

  • [DEV-30207] The IXIA CCMS Web server stopped retrieving outputs when some system exceptions were returned by the Output Generator. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29976] The taxonomy can now be modified for unified translation documents. 
  • [DEV-29627] [DEV-30072] Setting default.automatic.push.dependencies to false in web.platform.config.xml did not set the Push Dependencies slider to Off by default in the Manage Instance dialog. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29374] Datagrid columns were offset when using a custom view. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-28245] A Translation Manifest could be moved to an end state such as Translation:done even if one object was not yet translated in one of its Language Manifests. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-27700] A parent map could not be moved to the next state when a topicref element used a key defined in a submap. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-27639] Custom datagrid views were not retained. This issue has been fixed.

IXIA CCMS Desktop

  • [DEV-28999] In a Standard configuration, a “Document already localized” error appeared when using pivot localization and localizing to the same language that was used to localize from. This issue has been fixed.

IXIA Output Generator

  • [DEV-30286] IXIA CCMS can now publish Oxygen WebHelp HTML files to Syndicate.
  • [DEV-30209] Syndicate now updates files rather than creating new ones.
  • [DEV-30208] IXIA CCMS can now publish PDF files to Syndicate.
  • [DEV-30189] When the Output Generator was in debug mode, the temp directory was not retained. This issue has been fixed.

Known Issues

  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files
    The Import Images feature does not support Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files when importing .zip archives containing only images. As a result, Illustrator files are not imported.
    No workaround is currently available for this limitation.
    In addition, editing an existing image does not allow uploading Adobe Illustrator (.ai) files.
    Development request DEV-30537 has been opened to address these issues.
    Workaround (applies to image editing only):
    Please contact Support for a temporary configuration update to enable uploading Adobe Illustrator files when editing an existing image.
  • Take Ownership
    When logged into CCMS Web using SSO and trying to take ownership of a locked file, a “Take Ownership, Execute Command failed” error message appears.
    No workaround is currently available for this limitation.
    Development request DEV-30582 has been opened to address this issue.

  • This version includes Oxygen Web Author 28.1.
  • This version includes the CCMS Web Oxygen license for 2026.
  • [DEV-29974] An error message “Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘locale’)” displayed when opening a Language Manifest with DRM orphans. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29915] Smart import failed if the en-US language code was not configured in languages.xml. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29854] Spaces were missing in the text in the Revision History page. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29753] A “Sorry, there was an error” dialog box sometimes appeared during the Manage Instance action for images. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29749] Importing translation kits showed a Partial Pass if the kits had been created using a MAC computer. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29748] Translated map outputs containing images marked as Translation: Do Not Translate failed when the language code was mixed case. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29620] Clicking the Help icon did not display the help documentation. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29557] Taxonomy terms displayed in case-sensitive order instead of alphabetical order. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29382] Smart import failed if selecting “skip” in Update Option when some objects were shared in closed branches. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29353] When exporting a snapshot as a .csv file, the Original Title field was empty. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29237] The Validate Links action did not report out-of-scope maps when they were referenced in a topic using the or element. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29165] When importing objects in the IXIA CCMS with the same original filename as existing objects, new objects were created instead of updating the existing ones. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-28301] An error message “Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘locale’)” displayed when opening a Language Manifest with translation objects for which the authoring object had been deleted. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-28248] The Insert Object dialog failed to display all branches for each object. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-28168] Oxygen Positron prompts did not work correctly when a topic contained a referable content object. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-28143] Auto-translation sometimes didn’t include child elements when the parent element did not have any changes. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-28087] The value declared for keys in a child subjectScheme map did not display in Structure view when the context was the parent map. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-28014] Objects that were cross-referenced by other objects could be deleted, which should not have been possible. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-27498] The Insert DITA key dialog box did not function correctly for keywords containing nested elements or linebreaks. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-26911] Performing a search returned no results when the context map for a topic was deleted. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-26838] Schematron was not applied for topics without a context map. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-26230] In the Dependencies Preventing the Push dialog, the description of the error was cut off. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-25936] New image objects failed to create when the file size was above 15 MB. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-25684] In the Ditaval dialog for output generation, the profiling attribute value text overlapped on the attribute name when the name was long. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-23713] When cloning a topic with nested children in Structure view and selecting Replace original, the child topics were removed from the map. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-22026] The Tomcat Health Check component is now activated by default.
  • [DEV-19027] When creating a collaborative review, inactive users were allowed to be selected as assignees. This issue has been fixed.

IXIA CCMS Desktop

IXIA Output Generator

  • [DEV-29914] Generating output and creating translation kits stopped when the size reached 2 GB. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DV-29833] Outputs failed for language manifests when the language code was mixed case. This issue has been fixed.
  • [DEV-29417] In the Output Generator outgen-init.xml file, the property outgen.job.ant.java.home.windows was defined for Linux case. This issue has been fixed.
