Create a document of the configuration details

A list of all the configuration information can be compiled into a document, which can facilitate troubleshooting and communication with IXIASOFT Support.

Instead of searching through various locations to identify information such as what is the environment, what versions of what software is installed, and how the components are configured, you can view a compilation of the information from the Eclipse SDK Installation Details window, which is available from the main menu by clicking Help > About Eclipse SDK > Installation Details.

In particular, you can view the name and version of the plugins you have installed by clicking the Plug-ins tab. In the Plug-ins tab, you can sort the columns by clicking the headers. The main providers of for the IXIASOFT CCMS are as follows:

  • DITA
  • IXIASOFT Technologies Inc.
  • Syncro Soft SRL

  • You can ask your users to send you their Installation Details file when they report issues with their installation, which you can use to verify information such as their system properties and the versions of their plugins.
  • You can search your own Installation Details file to troubleshoot your deployment before calling IXIASOFT Support.
  • You can send the Installation Details to IXIASOFT Support when you need their assistance.
