IXIASOFT CCMS Web Server software requirements

The IXIASOFT CCMS Web Server has few software requirements because the core software is automatically installed.

Operating systems

The server that hosts the IXIASOFT TEXTML Server should support the following version of Linux:

  • Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®/CentOS Linux version 7.x 64-bit

For the server hosting the CCMS Web Server, the following versions of Windows Server® are supported:

  • Windows Server® 2008 R2 64-bit
  • Windows Server® 2012 64-bit
  • Windows Server® 2012 R2 64-bit
  • Windows Server® 2016 64-bit

DITA Open Toolkit requirement

The DITA Open Toolkit must be at version 2.3.1 if you plan to use the Collaborative Review feature of IXIASOFT CCMS.

CCMS Web Server

You do not need to install Tomcat or Java for CCMS Web Server. The following software is automatically installed by the CCMS Web Server install script:

  • Apache Tomcat® 9 (9.0.31)
  • Java™ JDK 11 or above, 64-bit

Reverse proxy software is required if you require encryption for all communication on the CCMS Web Server.
