Plan your packages and distribution method

Before you can start deploying IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop, you need to make some key decisions.

1. Review Key concepts of deploying IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop.
2. Design the packages:
   1. Decide how many packages you need.
   2. Decide which plugins will go into each package.
3. Decide on your distribution method:
   1. Select the method you will use to distribute the packages.
   2. Decide whether you will have pre-defined values for the connection information.
   3. Determine whether Kerberos is used with your current TEXTML Server installation.
   4. Determine whether SSL is used to secure communication between CCMS Desktop and IXIASOFT TEXTML Server.
