Why is nothing displayed in the Help pane or in the Preview view?

The file association for HTML files is not configured properly.

Description

The Help, Preview view, or other windows are blank.

Solution

  1. In IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop, click Window > Preferences.
  2. Expand General > Editors.
  3. Click File Associations
  4. In the File Types pane, click .html.
  5. If the file association is correctly configured, Web Browser should appear in the Associated editors pane. If it does not, you must fix the association. To fix it:
    1. Click the Add button next to the Associated editors pane.
    2. Click Web Browser.
    3. Click OK.
    4. Click Web Browser in the Associated editors pane and click the Default button.
    5. Remove any other entries by clicking them and clicking Remove.
    6. Click OK.
  6. Repeat the file association with .htm.For example:
