What is an orphan in DRM?

In DRM, there are partial orphans and true orphans.

Description

The orphans checkbox in the Search view is not showing a list of topics that are not being used.

Solution

A true orphan is when a topic is not part of any DRM version, product, or library. This happens when a topic is replaced with a new version using the Update To feature. A partial orphan is when a topic is still part of a version, product, or library but is not used in a map. In the Search view, the Orphans option finds true orphans, but there is no way to find partial orphans.
