How can I clear the "Does not exist in target version" error when trying to create a new DRM instance of a map?

You can use the DRM Add To feature to clear the error.

Description

When trying to create a new instance of a bookmap the following error appears:

content/authoring/vxq1479316302546.ditamap The ID [htr1434032488305.xml] exists in current version [1.0] of library, but it does not exist in target version [2.0].

The product version or library version that you are trying to create the map in does not contain the referenced topics. In the example above, the topics exist in the 1.0 library but not the 2.0 library.

Solution

Use the DRM Add To feature to add the topics to the 2.0 library.
