Upload and add an image to a topic

If the image you need does not already exist within IXIASOFT CCMS Web, a new image can be uploaded.

You must check out the topic.

You can upload any compatible image file from your computer to CCMS Web.

To upload and add an image:

  1. Within the Topic Editor, click Insert image icon.
  2. On the Insert image dialog, select a method to upload an image:
    • Click Upload Image, then select an image from your computer.
    • Drag and drop an image onto the Upload Image area.

    A dialog appears containing the uploaded image.

  3. In the Image title field, add information that provides context for the image.
  4. From the Type drop-down list, select the image type.
  5. In the Description field, add a summary of the image.
  6. Click Insert.
