  - Revision History
    Whenever an important change happens to an object, IXIASOFT CCMS Web creates a new revision. CCMS Web tracks all the changes to an object with each revision and stores the information in the revision history.
  - Taxonomies
    A taxonomy is a hierarchical classification system that organizes taxonomy terms. Taxonomy terms are a type of metadata, which you can use to classify objects.

  You use the My Assignments page to keep track of all the work you need to do in IXIASOFT CCMS Web. The work is tracked as a series of assignments on a users' My Assignments page.

  Maps provide structure to the other objects. All the topics that are part of a document are organized into a map.

  Topics are the basic containers for all content in IXIASOFT CCMS Web.
- Generating output
  All of the content that you create can be exported from IXIASOFT CCMS Web to the target document deliverables using the IXIASOFT CCMS Output Generator. The CCMS Output Generator is the component that executes the transformation processes from DITA files to a specified output type, such as PDF, HTML, and XML.
