Comments in editors

You can navigate through and manage comments while editing an object in an editor (such as Map Editor and Topic Editor).

You can use the Forward icon and Back icon on the toolbar to scroll through comments. Clicking the icons jumps to and highlights the comment in the Main Editing area and the Review panel.

You can then click the Edit Comment icon (Edit Comment icon) or the Delete Comment icon (Delete Comment icon).

Comments in the Main Editing area

When you hover over a comment in the Main Editing area, a dialog appears with the comment and all the replies.

When a something is part of more than one comment, the different comments are shown in different shades of the same color. If you click on something highlighted in multiple comments, a dialog appears, where you can choose the comment thread to view.

Comments in the Review panel

When you click on a comment in the Review panel, you will jump to the comment in the Main Editing area and an arrow points to the comment.

In the Review panel, you can remove and reply to comments. You can also mark a comment as done, which grays it out and prevents further edits to it.

User mentions in comments

Users can tag each other in a comments so that they can direct questions and comments to each other.

Users can see when their names have been mentioned using a tag. They see their username highlighted in orange and an @ symbol appears next to the Review icon (Review icon) in their side panel.

Users can also quickly filter the comments in a topic or map to find where they are tagged.
