Use viewpoints in search results

To use viewpoints in search results:

  1. Open the DITA perspective.
  2. Perform a search.
    Your search results are displayed in the Search Results view. An example of the search results without viewpoint is displayed.
  3. In the Search Results view, click Select viewpoint from the drop-down list and select a viewpoint.
    The search results are organized into folders and display columns according to the viewpoint selected. The example below shows the viewpoint display of the Maps in Authoring:work search results grouped by the following fields: title, status, and last mod by. The results are also displayed in columns according to the selected columns. Click a folder to display the documents within it.
  4. To exit the viewpoint mode, click the Select viewpoint drop-down list and select None.
