Edit the metadata for an image

Each image object has basic details, which are stored in IXIA CCMS Web as metadata.

Images have the following metadata that you can edit:

  • Name or title of the image
  • Type of image
  • Description
  • Translation requirements

To edit the metadata for an image:

  1. In Image Editor, click Edit.
  2. Optional: To change the image name, click Rename icon and enter a new name.
  3. Optional: To change the type of image, select a different type from the Type drop-down list.
  4. Optional: To change the description for the image, click in the Description field and add to or edit the text.
    Note: This is a description of the image for users. It does not appear in the output.
  5. Optional: To indicate the image needs translation, select the Translation checkbox.
  6. Click Check in.
    Your changes to the image metadata are saved.
