Enable the automatic spell checker

You can enable the automatic spell checker to assist you with spelling and grammar choices during topic edits.

When you enable the spell checker, it underlines spelling and grammatical errors in red.

To enable the automatic spell checker:

  1. On the Oxygen Web Author toolbar, click Preferences button.
  2. From the drop-down list, select Preferences.
    The Preferences dialog appears.
  3. Enable or disable the spell checker by selecting or deselecting the checkbox beside Enable automatic spell checking.
  4. Click Apply.
    The spell checker is either enabled or disabled, depending on the state you set.
