How can I change the version tag for a Published map

You can branch the map and publish it again to give it the correct version tag.

Description

In a Standard installation, you cannot rename an existing version tag. As a workaround, you can branch the map and publish it with the correct version tag.

Solution

  1. Archive the existing map so that it does not appear in any search results.
  2. Branch the published map.
  3. Move the map to its end state such as Authoring:done.
  4. Publish the map.
