Open Offline perspective

You can work offline with locked documents in the Offline perspective.

Any documents you want to work on must be locked before you go offline.

To open the Offline perspective, do one of the following:

In the Perspective Shortcut bar, click the Offline button ().
From the menu bar, click Window > Perspective > Open Perspective... > Offline.
Click the Connection Information button , and in the Preferences dialog, and click Work Offline.
Note: The color of the Connection Information button varies with connection status. it may be red if you are not connected.

The Offline perspective opens.
