You can create new topics for maps in
            Structure view if you need to add more
        content.
        Before you begin
            You must have the map checked out in Map Editor and be in Structure view. The toggle must also be set to Edit.
        About this task
            You can add a new topic to any map that you can edit. New maps start
                empty, and you must add new topics to them.
            To add a new topic to a map:
        
        Procedure

                Find an element in the map that you want to add the new topic
                    after.
            
- 
                In the Map Edit
                    column, click  for that object, and select New Topic. for that object, and select New Topic.
- 
                Select one of the following:
                
                The New Topic dialog appears. 
- Enter a title for your topic.
- Click Next.
- 
Choose a template from the following:

                Click Create.
                The New Element dialog appears.

                From the Element dropdown list, select the element
                    that you want to add.
                For a new topic, the most commonly used elements would be
                         <topicref> or
                             <chapter>. Note: The Element dropdown list
                        shows only elements that you can insert at the current location.

                Click Insert.
