Switch between map view and map edit

In Structure view, you can use the View/Edit toggle to switch between editing the map and viewing the objects in the map.

Before you begin

You must have the map checked out in Map Editor and be in Structure view.

To switch between map view and map edit:

Determine which method you are currently using, based on the toggle color and decide what you want to accomplish.

Method	Function
View	Gives access to the Actions column Can make changes to the objects in the map Can take actions on objects in the map
Edit	Gives access to the Map Edit column Can make changes to the map

(Optional) Click the View/Edit toggle to switch to the option not already in use to align with your intent.
The toggle changes color, the function changes to the selected method, and the Dynamic Grid refreshes.
