Preparing to use AI Positron Assistant
AI Positron Assistant is an add-on provided by Oxygen that can be integrated into Oxygen Web Author and Oxygen Eclipse within the CCMS . It uses artificial intelligence to support technical content creators and editors throughout the content lifecycle.
Within the CCMS, the Enterprise version of the add-on enables you to connect to your own OpenAI, Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, or Anthropic Claude accounts.
Using AI Positron Assistant, you can
- Record changes made in the editor as a set of instructions and save them as a custom AI action or favorite prompt that you can easily reuse
- Check content for grammar and spelling errors
- Get suggestions to improve sentence structure and style
- Use AI-Fix to identify and resolve validation errors
AI Positron offers additional features but not all of them are compatible with the IXIA CCMS.
As AI Positron Assistant is provided by Oxygen, MadCap Software is not responsible for the features it includes. For more general information on AI Positron Assistant, see Oxygen's documentation at https://www.oxygenxml.com/ai_positron_assistant.html.
For details on how AI Positron Assistant can enhance your authoring experience within the IXIA CCMS, see our blog at https://www.madcapsoftware.com/blog/madcap-ixaccms-ai-positron/.
What do I need to start using AI Positron Assistant?
You need to do several things before you can install and use AI Positron Assistant.
- Select your LLM.
As explained above, AI Positron Assistant supports OpenAI, Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, or Anthropic Claude out of the box.
- Get your LLM key.
This is an API key or a similar credential that allows you to access and use a particular LLM. This key is necessary to make requests and receive responses from the LLM. You will get an LLM key from the LLM provider's website when you register and create an account with the LLM.
When you have set up an LLM account and have an LLM key, you are ready to proceed.
