Specify who can add words to spelling dictionaries in CCMS Desktop

You can restrict certain roles or groups from adding words to spelling dictionaries on the fly in CCMS Desktop.

What to know

Users with the AddToDictionaryJob access right can add words to spelling dictionaries using the CCMS Desktop interface. If you need to more tightly maintain your spelling dictionaries, you can configure the access right as needed.

Steps

  1. Open TEXTML Administration and connect to the server and Content Store.
  2. Go to system/conf/accessrights.xml.
  3. Check out and open the file.
  4. Locate the AddToDictionaryJob access right.
  5. Configure the appropriate roles and groups for this access right.
  6. Save, close, and check in the file.
  7. Refresh the Web Server and instruct users to restart CCMS Desktop.
