IXIA CCMS architecture
The IXIA CCMS solution is comprised of client and server components.

| Docbase | Acts as a central storage location for workgroup configurations and all the IXIA CCMS DITA content, such as maps or topics, and non-DITA content, such as images, PDF files, or videos | 
| IXIA CCMS Output Generator | Acts a centralized server during the transformation of DITA content to a specified output type, such as PDF, HTML, XML, or CHM | 
| IXIA CCMS Scheduler | Schedules and executes tasks such as output generation, notifications, or activity report creation, and is similar to a Windows task scheduler or a Linux cron daemon | 
| IXIA CCMS Web Server | Contains the CCMS Application Server and IXIA CCMS Web applications, which allow users to edit and review content with the CCMS Web client | 
| Oxygen Server OEM version plus MadCap Software plugin | Delivers information back and forth between IXIA CCMS Web and the IXIA CCMS Web Server | 
| Apache or Microsoft IIS reverse proxy | Provides SSL encryption between the web browsers of end users and the CCMS Web Server |
