Important information

The REST API is developed alongside the features of IXIA CCMS Web. As such, it does not yet cover all the functionalities of the CCMS and it will grow and evolve with each new version of the IXIA CCMS.

Therefore, MadCap Software cannot guarantee that the API will remain backward compatible with each new release.

With each version of IXIA CCMS, the What's New section of the REST API documentation will detail the changes from the previous version and provide guidance for developers to migrate their applications.

Scope of REST API

The REST API does not currently allow write access to the IXIA CCMS configuration. It allows read access only. In the future, MadCap Software will consider exposing the configuration to the REST API for write access.

Support for using the REST API is not part of the technical support of IXIA CCMS. It is covered as part of your monthly Customer Care hours.
