Create a query

Creating a query saves search parameters that you use frequently so that you can re-use them.

You can create the following types of query:
  • Personal queries: Sets of criteria that you can reuse through IXIASOFT CCMS
  • TEXTML queries: Sets of criteria that you can access and edit through the TEXTML Server console.

To create a query:

  1. Set up a search in the Search view.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To save the criteria as a personal query, click the Save Query button: Save options icon
    • To save the criteria as a TEXTML query, click the Save TEXTML Query button: Search xml query icon
    The Save query window appears.

    Note: The Save viewpoint with query option is displayed only if a viewpoint is selected in the Search Results window.
  3. Enter a descriptive name.
  4. (Optional) Select Save viewpoint with query if you want to save the query along with viewpoint.
  5. Click OK.
    The query is saved under Personal or Personal Textml in the Queries panel.
