Print a map

You can print out the map's structure, complete with all its topics.

This feature lets you produce a hard copy of a map that's open in the DITA Map view or DITA Map Editor so that you can quickly review its structure.

Tip: On Windows, there's a handy utility that lets you use this feature to produce a PDF file. Just install PDFCreator.
  1. In the DITA Map view or DITA Map Editor, click the Print this tree button (Print map icon).
    The Print dialog appears.
  2. Select your printer and settings, if necessary.
  3. Click Print.
The map structure is output on the printer.
