Password requirements for dedicated SaaS deployments

For security reasons, user passwords created in remote desktop in dedicated SaaS deployments must be complex and regularly updated.

Complexity requirements

Passwords must:
  • Be at least 8 characters long.
  • Exclude your name, username, and domain name.
  • Not contains spaces.

  • Contain characters from three of the following four categories:

    • Uppercase alphabet characters (A–Z)
    • Lowercase alphabet characters (a–z)
    • Arabic numerals (0–9)
    • These nonalphanumeric characters: ~!#$%^*?_-+=

Password expiry and reuse

Passwords expire at regular intervals determined by your company and IXIASOFT. You can ask your administrator for the password expiry policy of your company.

You cannot reuse any of the last 24 passwords that you used. This is called a "history requirement".

(Inactivity does not cause passwords to expire.)
