Download and extract the IXIASOFT Output Generator files

This procedure describes how to extract the IXIASOFT CCMS Output Generator files.

1. On the CCMS Output Generator server, create a directory where the CCMS Output Generator will be installed; for example:

   Windows: C:\Ixiasoft\OutputGenerators\Prod
   Linux: /opt/ixiasoft/OutputGenerators/Prod

   You must have the following permissions on the directory:

   • Windows: Read and write permissions
   • Linux: Read, write, and execute permissions (750)

   Note: Throughout this document, the %OutputGenDir% expression will be used to represent the Output Generator directory.
2. Download and unzip the package:
   1. Go to the CCMS_6.2 folder of the IXIASOFT Downloads site:
      https://cms.ixiasoft.com/downloads/
   2. Open the CCMS_OutputGenerator folder.
   3. Click the link to the latest build version of the CCMS Output Generator.
      The following files are listed:

      • outputgenerator-[version]_bin.zip
      • outputgenerator-[version]_conf.zip
3. Extract both of the zip files to the %OutputGenDir% directory so that the unzipped files are in that one folder.
4. Delete the .zip files from the directory.
