Migrate existing Collaborative Reviews to new statuses

Once you have renamed the statuses, you can manually move all the existing Collaborative Reviews with the old status names to the new statuses. You can then delete the old status names.

Note: This task is optional. You do not need to move existing Collaborative Reviews to the new statuses nor delete the old statuses. However, completing this task removes deprecated code from the collaborativereview_status.xml file.
  1. In IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop, search for all Collaborative Reviews in status Open or Closed.
    1. Click the Search tab.
    2. In the Cycles panel, click the drop-down arrow to the right of Authoring.
    3. Select closed and open.
    4. In the Document Types panel, click the drop-down arrow to the right of Others.
    5. Select collaborative-review.
    6. Click Search.
  2. Select all the Authoring:open Collaborative Reviews, and change their status to Authoring:review.
  3. Select all the Authoring:closed Collaborative Reviews, and change their status to Authoring:in discussion.
  4. Open the TEXTML Administration perspective by clicking the TEXTML Administration shortcut on the tool bar. If the shortcut is not displayed, follow these steps:
    1. Select Window > Perspective > Open Perspective > Other
    2. Click TEXTML Administration.
    3. Click Open.
  5. In the TEXTML Administration view, double-click the server.
  6. If your server is not displayed in the view, add it by doing the following:
    1. To find the server name, click Window > Preferences and select IXIASOFT CCMS.
      In the TEXTML Server Connection section, the server name is the Hostname.
    2. Copy the Hostname and close the Preferences window.
    3. In the TEXTML Administration view, right-click and select Add Server.
    4. In the Server field, enter the server name.
      The Port field should fill automatically. If you need the port number, you can find it in the same place as the server name in the Preferences window.
    5. Click OK.
  7. When the Connect as dialog opens, type your username and password and click OK.
  8. Double-click the name of your Content Store to open a connection to it.
  9. Navigate to Repository > System > conf.
  10. Check out and open collaborativereview_status.xml.
    1. Delete the status named open with the attribute type="cancelled" and level=10.
    2. Delete the status named closed with the attribute type="cancelled".
  11. Save, check in, and close collaborativereview_status.xml.
  12. Use the Administration area of CCMS Web to refresh the web server
