Example: Search within SVG images

This example shows how to find all SVG images with the text string "remove object" in the image.

You can search for any text string that appears in an SVG image that was added through IXIASOFT CCMS Web. You can use this search to find SVG images that you might need to updated because of UI changes.

Important: You can only search the text of an SVG that was uploaded in CCMS Web 6.7 or later versions. SVG images imported in earlier versions of CCMS Web were not indexed. Contact IXIASOFT Customer Support if you want to make the older SVG images searchable.
Note: To be searchable, the text must be directly in the SVG image. If a raster image (PNG, JPEG, TIF) is embedded in the SVG image, any text in the raster image is not indexed.
  1. In the Search field, enter remove object.
  2. From the Search in drop-down list, select Full text.
  3. Click Advanced Search Filter icon.
The Advanced Search side panel opens.
  4. Expand the Object Types filter.
  5. Click the Images checkbox.
  6. Click Search.
The results show any SVG images with the text.
