Open the Administration Console

The TEXTML Server Administration Console is used to configure the TEXTML Server and to manage docbases, collections, and files.

Linux users can open the Administration Console through a shortcut in a Linux desktop environment. The Administration Console is typically installed on an administrator or developer workstation.

To open the Administration Console:

  1. From an administrator or developer workstation, log in to your Linux desktop.
  2. In your system browser, navigate to the Administration Console shortcut, located in /opt/ixiasoft/bin/buildno/textmladminjava

  3. Double-click the TextmlAdminTool shortcut.
    The Administration Console opens.

    Note: The first time that you open the TEXTML Server Administration Console, a welcome window may be displayed. Simply close it to display the TEXTML Server Administration Console.
  4. To exit from the Administration Console, click the X in the top right corner.
