How can I resolve the "An error has occurred" erorr when launching IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop?

You can remove a workspace file to clear the error.


When launching IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop, this error message appears: An error has occurred. See the log file <workspace path>/.log error message appears.


I am unable to start IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop.


  1. Close IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop.
  2. In your workspace folder, delete the .metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.e4.workbench\workbench.xmi file. For example, C:\ixiasoft-ccms\workspaces\jdoe\iccms60drm\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.e4.workbench\workbench.xmi.
