Using the Documents view

The Document view gives you several document tracking functionalities, such as identifying recently used documents or frequently used documents.

It also provides you with a means of revisiting these documents without having to search for them.

The Documents view contains the following panels, which you can open or close as you need:
  • Favorites – you can add the documents you work with most often to this view, and group them into appropriate categories.
  • Recent Documents – shows you the documents you've recently worked with. You can remove any or all the documents from this list, as you wish.
  • Recent Operations – shows you the actions you've recently performed on documents.

The Documents view may not be visible when you first open the DITA Perspective. In this case you'll need to open it from the Windows menu.
