Export the IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop Error Log

The Error Log keeps a record of all incidents in IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop.

Every incident – major or minor – is recorded in the Error Log. You should export the Error log contents to a file and then attach or paste it into an email, so that you can send this information to the IXIASOFT customer support team.

To export the log:

  1. In the IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop, open the Error Log view.
  2. If you can reproduce the problem, clear the log by clicking the Clear Log Viewer button and then reproduce it before you proceed with exporting the log.
  3. Click the Export Log button. Export error log button
    The Save as dialog appears.
  4. Save the log file to disk.
  5. If you were unable to reproduce the error, provide the time when the issue occurred so customer support can quickly locate the relevant entries in the log.
