Create a backup of the IXIASOFT TEXTML Server

IXIASOFT TEXTML Server does not need to be backed up since it can be reinstalled; however, a copy of the license and configuration file should be kept with the backups.

To facilitate recovery, store a copy of the following files with your other backups:

• License file: Save a copy of the IxiaLicense.ilf, which is in the following directory:
  • Windows: %ProgramData%/IxiaSoft/Licenses
  • Linux: /opt/ixiasoft/licenses
• Configuration file: Save a copy of textmlservercfg.xml, which is in the following directory:
  • Windows: %ProgramFiles%\IxiaSoft\TextmlServer43
  • Linux: /opt/ixiasoft/bin/3037_0/textmlserver
