Move a row or column in a table

You can reorganize the rows and columns in a table by dragging and dropping them in a new position.

  1. In the table, click in the row or column that you want to move.
    A drag handle (drag handle) appears at the top of the column and on the left of the row.
  2. Click on the drag handle.
    The entire row is highlighted to show it is selected.
  3. Drag the row or column to a new position.
