Document queries and operators

The following topics provide procedures and examples to create and run various document queries and to understand and use the various query operators and wildcards.

The TEXTML Server allows you to construct two types of queries:

• Document queries retrieve user or system documents. For document query syntax, see the SEARCH_DOCUMENTS.DTD system document.
• Indexed values queries retrieve the list of values in an index. For more on this type of query, see Indexed values queries.
