Insert multiple rows or columns into a table

This procedure lets you insert several rows or columns into a table at once.

  1. Place your cursor in the table where you want to insert the rows or columns.
  2. Right-click and then select Table > Insert Rows or Columns...
    Note: This action is also available from the menu bar as XML Document > Table > Insert Rows or Columns...
    The Insert Rows or Columns dialog appears.
  3. Select the row or column position that applies: e.g., Before or Left.
  4. Enter either:
    • Number of rows
    • Number of columns
  5. Click OK.
The rows or columns are inserted into the table.
