Merge cells

This procedure lets you merge a table cells with one of its neighboring cells.

1. Place your cursor in the cell you want to merge.
2. Right-click, then select one of the following:
   • Table > Merge cell up
   • Table > Merge cell down
   • Table > Merge cell left
   • Table > Merge cell right
   Note: These actions are also available from:

   • The menu bar under XML Document > Table
   • The XMetaL Table Toolbar
