Create a project

This procedure creates a completely new project.

Note: Any project that you create is automatically assigned to you as Project Coordinator.
  1. From the Project Management view, click the Create Project button (create project icon).
    The Project Information dialog appears.
  2. Enter a Name for the project.
  3. (Optional): Set the Due Date.
    1. Click the calendar button. Assignment calendar Open
      An interactive calendar appears.

    2. Select the required date, then click OK.
      You'll return to the Project Information dialog where the selected Due date will be displayed.
  4. Click OK.
    Your new project appears in the Project Management view.
If you need to change or assign additional project managers you can do so using the Assignments dialog, if you have project assignment rights.
